Parker started her career in biochemistry researching monoamine oxidase in a project sponsored by the National Science Foundation through Wesleyan University.
She then moved into the corporate world where she was mentored by Don Kendall PepsiCo CEO and Pepsi senior management and the owner of the Coca Cola franchise for Southern France. Parker decided that selling colored sugar water did not align with her life mission long before Apple CEO Steve Jobs recruited John Scottie to Apple using this USP "Would you rather spend the rest of your life creating sugar water or changing the world."
Parker went on to work for the NYTimes News Service working on special features where she immersed herself in the skills and tools of written communication.
Responding to a desire to live closer to nature Parker moved to North Central Vermont, where she designed and built a passive solar house, grew a successful business, raised three children, enjoyed the benefits of an extensive organic garden and raised $.5 million to create a local community center. During that period she studied Environmental Law and a variety of alternative healing modalities.
Pursuing her interest in visual communication, she produced and/or hosted over 200 programs on a wide variety of topics.
Parker has always enjoyed working with innovators, soon Eco businesses started asking me to consult with them. She helped them to define their market share and use their environmental and social values to strengthen their brand.
Today, Parker is dedicated to using her business expertise, both corporate and entrepreneurial, plus her background in science, spirituality and communication to energize and empower individuals and businesses in the area of environmental and social innovation to create global prosperity and support our planet's diversity and sustainability.
